In 2004, two of my projects were nominated for Local Authority Building Control awards with Bath & North East Somerset Council.  One of them went on to be a winner under the category of ‘building quality' Photographs of the winning building (Undertakers Premises) and the other nominated building (Neighbourhood Nursery) can be found in the New Build section of this website.

What happens - What is the procedure?

After a site survey I will prepare existing drawings and sketches before coming back to see you to finalise design. In between this we may also include discussions with the Planning Officer.  When the final scheme is agreed I finish the plans and submit them to the Local Authority. When both planning and building regulations are approved, you are then ready to appoint your builder and start work.

I am able to supervise your project under a JCT Building Works contract if required and issue a Professional Consultants Certificate on completion of the project.  I am also a Elmhurst Accredited Energy Assessor for new build dwellings and provide SAP ratings and EPC's for new build housing.
